I am much honored  and humbled to receive this award, which i accept on behalf of the “ONTARIO CAROLINIANS”, The Tesari Charitable Foundation and the  Lebumfacil  Sta. Ana Medical Foundation.

We all share in this recognition and together we will move forward to achieve our goals.

As a young Carolinian, I have gained confidence, and contenment to be part of a much larger family more aware and concern of the world outside, other than my own. The nurturing academic environment played a big role to prepare Me to a bigger life's journey that brought me back here today. There is something special in an institutuon which emphasizes and upholds the principles of “SCIENCE AND VIRTUE”. Education towards A total human Development of which I’m living up to the Principles and Values by our Alma Mater. 

I would like to mention with my sincerest gratitude to Madam Luz Mancao Sandiego, The former Director and Head of USC. Physical Educ. (1960 -  ) and Founder of the USC. DANCE TROUPE. As a member and a student, under her tutelage grew to learn A furhter appreciation of our Art and Cultural heritage. Occasionally, Madam would bring us to places and institutions for charitabel performances especially during Christmas Seasons. (LEPROSARIUM) Presenting our cultural heritage through Dance and Folk Art to the poor, The sick and the less fortunate, were rewarding moments. Thus, made me aware of the importance of giving back to the community.

To my Husband, Michael, TheFounder and thePrime mover of the Tesari Charitable Foundation, Who share the belief that success does not come easily, it comes through hard work, Dedication and Passion.  We have to be passionate about what we do and be driven enough to excel in every aspect of what we aspire for. A million Thanks!

To my Nephew, Dr. James Gaite, The initiator and founder of the Lebumfacil-Sta. Ana Medical Foundation.  My greatest gratitude, for encouring, and giving me the opportunity to help feed the hungry and heal the sick. Your foresight and Dedication have facilated the difficult task to succeed.

To my Loving Sister, Cecile Yared Gaite, My heartfelt thanks; for– Your pioneering spirit and The continuous effort in organizing events that support the community.

In conclusion, I would like to go back to the year’ 65, My graduation and most importantly, our “4th Centennial Celebration“ As Christian. I left Cebu that year with full of life, Enlightened by the Holy Spirit and hopeful of a very bright beginning; After all I have just performed in Solo The Religious Ritual Dance “SINULOG” In the Brand new Cebu Coliseum.
